    Re: VOIP problem

It may be a windows 7 issue. Theres an exclusivity setting for both the speakers and the mic. Also there is a mic setting in the BF2 settings that is kinda strange but it works.

Go to, Control panel, hardware and sound, under "Sound" click "manage audio devices. Highlight Headphones (assuming you have them plugged in) and click "Properties". Now click on the Advanced Tab and you will see a window marked "Exclusive Mode", make sure BOTH boxes are UNCHECKED!

Do the same for "Speakers" and under the "Recording" tab do it for the Mic. Reboot and you should be good to go.

For the BF2 end of the fix:
Start BF2, go to Options, Audio, and slide the Mic Threshold test bar down to zero and apply. You may have to restart the game but this should fix the ingame mic issue.
