mmmm i believe its an integrated graphics card...itīs at least 256 mb so i dont think thats the problem...no im not running it on a maaac gatoo...itīs a toshiba i stole from my dad.
So anyway...yea ill try turning off the firewall right now...aaaaaand what else can i do? Imma check directx 9.0 too

Hey make sure your laptops refresh rate is set to 60Hz. Because by default the game loads up 800x600@60Hz. I remembered I had that same issue on my laptop because my GPU setting was set to 59 or 55Hz (don't remember which one). Changed it to 60Hz and game started up with no problem...

Integrated Graphics + BF2 = No Game for you. Unless you have one of those overpriced complete waste of everything good, 20 cores and 50,000 GBs of RAM laptops then it may just pull it off. I'm running Win7 Pro 32-bit - I don't remember having problems after upgrading. It workedsmooth right of the bat.

More times than not Xav, BF2 wont load up correctly if the graphics settings are too low. I know Palerider had a way to go in and adjust it before actually launching it so that it would load up and stay running. You might need to research how to manually change the default graphics settings before it will run correctly.
