THX for the brain dump cornfuse (and others on this forum). Unlike H7 (which keeps feeding me arty and c4 sandwiches) I _am_ one of the n00bs on the server with an enrollment date of xmas 2010. I've enjoyed slowly working my way up the ranks (currently gunny), and found this community to be true-est to the game.

The input per holding spawn makes sense, but had not completely occurred to me (waiting until squad lead arrives, rather than repeatedly hitting mines with him began to start to click ... but still, mostly from my personal K2D ratio; not grasping the value to the team).

My K2D ratio is slowly creeping up (used to be 0.10, now approaching 0.30). I'm currently working on trying to improve that further ... just not sure exactly how to suck less.

id hold a flag 1 vs 6. drag them all into one on one battles that stack the odds towards your side. if i kill even half of them and hold up the flag capture it is a net gain in tickets for our side.

Excellent write up Corn. Definitely something not a lot of people put thought into.

The game is indeed old as shit but the thing is, I'm predicting all of this will be more than relevant in BF3.
