Well i have pretty much exhausted all my effort in trying to get this video card to work, and i thank all who have tried to help me, i guess i will see u all in BF3 if this freaking card works... NVIDIA 560 TI, with direct 11x....

Try getting BF2 on Steam. The only problem I have with it on Steam with Windows 7 is that I can't hear VOIP although people can hear me. I think that's an audio setting though.

I installed only what it asked, but maybe i should try installing that, at this point it cant hurt... Should i uninstall it then reinstall it with steam?

I would not have thought this needed to be said, until about a month ago. One of the guys here, has a son, he could not get BF2 or PR to work. I spent some time with him and when I finally got down to the basics. He did not install BF2 patch 1.41. He just installed Patch 1.50. As it happens and I know people can forget. There is a specific way to install BF2 according to both EA and the PR MOD Team.

Install the basic BF2 Game + Special Forces or the Deluxe {which includes SF}.

Install BF2 patch 1.41

Install BF2 patch 1.50

If you don't get that simple little thing correct, the game will not load. It will hang up, Crash To Desktop, or any thing else abnormal.

Some places or people say that you need to install SF between the 1.41 patch and the 1.50 patch.

Since I have the Deluxe version of BF2 {which includes SF} I cannot speak to that information of how to install Special Forces.

What operating system you running & 32 or 64 bit ? i will get the link for the .net framework once i get OS info...

How to install dx9c > click on exe>run>yes>Browse>local disk C>windows>system32>DirectX folder(if no DirectX folder,create one)>ok>>>Start>my computer>local disk C>windows>system32>DirectX>look for the installer>install.

I call shenanigans on "some places or people." Installation of SF patches BF2 to something like patch 1.20 prior to installing SF itself. Always install in ascending order: 1.00 (BF2) > 1.20 (SF) > 1.41 > 1.50
