Re: Best place to preorder from?
Well, Origin was charging me extra $8 for shipping to Canada. Decided screw it, pre-ordered on Amazon but the estimated ship date according to them is Oct 28
Beginning to lean towards digital download. If I download it onto a secondary hard-drive and later upgrade my PC, I would still be able to install/play from the same disk?

Re: Best place to preorder from?
Get a birthday discount code from EA for Origin purchases. I had one arrive in my inbox a little while back since my birthday was yesterday. i think it was 15% or 20% off any game (including BF3).
Still wasn't worth diving into the game early for me, but if you must buy it, look into that.

FINE THEN!
........
Just put my money down at gamestop.
Fella there said there was talk about them being open at midnight for the game, but said he wasn't sure because the schedule was not out yet."The bravery of idiots is bravery none the less."
