Hey guys, tried playing BF2 today after quite a long while, I'm unable to connect to any BF2 server.
The only difference between now and before is, I've had a clean install of Windows 7, as I had a system upgrade.
Is anyone else having this problem?
My ports are open, I've also tried throwing my IP on the DMZ, but that hasn't worked either, I've also updated PB.
Windows Firewall is also off, so I'm puzzled as to what my problem is.
I did look around, but I can only find posts on other forums that are dated between 2005 and 2009, but nothing recent.
Almost tearing my hair out over this one...

Yep, I did a fresh install about 2 hours ago as well, patched with 1.4 then 1.5, I've also tried connecting using my laptop but it gives the same results.
I've tried adding the ports to the router, I also reset it to factory defaults.
Neither worked an I'm fairly certain when I first got it I didn't have to add the ports for it to work.
It's a Netgear DGN-1000 if that helps.
edit* 2 more things I've tried;
Connecting by using an IP
Connecting to a server that doesn't have Punkbuster enabled.
Neither of these worked either, I'm assuming it's down to my router still, however I've entered the ports in twice, as well as putting my PC on the DMZ as mentioned before, but I still haven't had any luck.
I'm unable to connect to the internet without the router, with me being connected up using a phoneline (yuck!... I want my cable connection back )
Out of ideas now...
