btw i see your point and i agree with it but regardless of the what they test there will still be something wrong no matter what you do in beta and we all know that so does this really matter in the long run? in short term i would say it does but on release day something is bound to go wrong.

Does it not make sense to fix issues found within the Alpha, re-test with the Beta, then apply all those fixes to all the maps?

Using RUSH as the test mode works for all platforms. The same conquest map would differ between console and PC, potentially adding more or different issues.

By using the same map they are streamlining the testing process, to fix global game issues not map/mode specific ones.

Does it not make sense to fix issues that could possibly be inherent within all the maps and core gameplay first, then focus on map/mode specific ones?

I'd like to play 64 player conquest also, but to say EA has a flawed business model...meh. The only failure I see is the lack of perspective and patients within gamers.
