there was definitely a hack abound my last day or two playing. at least two guys on a server I was on were essentially killing everyone alive on the opposite team, at will. It wasn't an aimbot per say (at least the hack I was a victim to)...it was more like a team-slay function. And it didn't matter who/what/when/where you were...if you were alive and they triggered it, you were dead. In a plane, dead. In a tank, dead. Standing around, dead. In cover, dead. And the death message was whichever item/vehicle they had active. So people were dying by: radio beacon...knife...M9...car...aircraft...tow. It cleared the server out pretty quickly (spawn, die; spawn, die; etc).

The one I saw was an aimbot - guy was standing on a high point way across the map with LMG, and was firing single shots and killing people. Eff that. Something similar happened on lots of servers, just this one guy was the worst offense of it. It was stupid obvious. Looking at their stats, "game play 2h 39m, level 39" or something of the sort.

SUCKS, but worse yet are the hackers that spawn your entire team on any given point. This particular hacker was sitting in a parked jet on their air field, then would spawn the entire team (infantry, tanks, jets, choppers, etc.) in front of it. Even if you didn't die from the jet's guns, you'd die for being out of bounds. Super lame.

tbh i dont mind these kind of cheaters, cause they just wanna be Disruptive, and are easly delt with. i hate the cheaters that use the hacks just to stay at the top of the curve, by chaming and setting hits to 20% head shots and 30% over all accuracy. they wanna seem like legit players when thier not. they wont use aimbot cause its too obvious, these cheaters dont wanna get caught.

we had a few over the years here at ttp, in the end they do at some point get busted. then the excuses oh my acct was hacked or wrongly vac'ed, or it was a single players blah blah.

its one of the greatest issues with pc gaming, if we could over come this i know professional pc gaming would be big.

Had a funny moment during the beta on Metro. I was defending the first set of mcoms and noticed someone set a charge on A. I didn't see anyone go up to it and didn't see anyone leave or take cover after it was armed. So, naturally, I was like wtf. Then out of nowhere the remote control little rover dude goes wheeling out of there right behind the mcom. Everybody had a good laugh, shot it, and then defused.... Had to be there I guess...
