Thread: anyone care to explain voip?

I've read so many conflicting things about voip. Some say you need create squad outside the game using battle log and then join game with your friends in order use voip. Other say their is in game voip and it as simple pushing one key. So anyone in beta care to enlighten us I don't want another bc2 with bored voip.

The one thing i have noticed is that there isnt a key bind in the options menu for voip. I could be totally wrong, and Didnt see it, but that is what i recall. Speaking of which, i hate how you have to adjust your key binds and settings in game and not in a main menu.

I've yet to see voip yet, but I've only played on 2 servers so far out of thousands. and during the beta, DICE can test whatever they want whenever they want on however many servers they want. maybe some have been in servers with it on and other with it off? I've yet to see it yet though, I haven't tried joining with people outside of the game though either...

Freindly fire is one of thos Optional Testing thingies, One server ON. The Next off.

I haven't heard any in-game voip. I did however have 10 people in my Party last night talking.
