    No idea on origin, but in my experience Steam starts off fairly small amount, and grows. Right now mine is around 32,000k but I just restarted it less then an hour ago.

    Read this article here and you'll see there are subtle changes between graphics modes, and it does in fact change, but not as drastically as you'd think.

    They have fixed plenty of things server and battlelog side. It is 10x better than it was last Tuesday. I have only maybe one client crash so far in over 30h playing. The rest have been server crashes. I don't know anything about Steam VS Origin as I don't use Steam. Origin really isn't that bad.

    Well, redownloading and installing fixed one thing and broke another, my computer stopped locking up. But it actually made the crashes more frequent, all of them display driver crashes.

    So, I jumped in the BattleLog forums in a desperate attempt to find a fix. First thread on the first page of the tech support forums had a simple solution, so simple I thought it beneath me to even try, but I was desperate. Apparently a lot of people are getting display driver crashes only when sound capture devices were plugged in. And I have (had) a webcam plugged in, that has a mic.

    I unplugged my webcam, and the game runs fucking PERFECT now. No crashes, no low FPS, no nothing.

    WHAT THE FUCK? How does a SOUND device cause my DISPLAY drivers to crash? And only in one game?

    And my webcam wasn't attempting to turn on or anything while playing, and I had the microphone muted and disabled since I like my headphone mic better.
