Squads an in-game option
Battlefield 3 getting in-game squad management after all - Battlefield 3
Sorry if this is a repost.
Ability to make squads will be in-game.
Only question for me is if VOIP will also be an in-game option.
If the answer is yes, ours prayers will have been answered.Last edited by triggerhappy2005; 10-06-11 at 12:04 PM.

Re: Squads an in-game option
Indeed, it is good news. We still have some unanswered questions as far as VoIP is concerned (team vs squad vs "party"). They claim it will be a true Battlefield sequel, so I can only imagine that it will work similarly. Again, we are only dealing with a Beta whose code was several weeks old by the time it was released, so we cannot make any educated assumptions about it.

Re: Squads an in-game option
I don't rule out the possiblity that the reason why BFBC 2 didn't get much attention is because all of their attention was on BF3 ... Which was going to be released a year later after bfbc 2... BF Badcompany was always considered a side project along side with Mirror's Edge... It was suppose to be a test project for the frostbyte engine 2 .....So I'm very sure VoIP will be working...
DICE knows alot more about not shipping a one of the main game series as a faulty product... Thats why they alpha and beta test it ... to fix up more known errors that gamers can use for advantages and also to get more publicity as a demo.. Not all DICE members have their head up there ass they want the game perfect to play and gamers to have fun with.
and heres something to remember not all Great titles come out completely perfect at launch..
