I agree with you but I can only think of one reason why they wouldn't do that.

Back when BF3 came out they sold the game for $50 to make up the costs of making the game. So the entire game cost $40 (unrealistic but go with me). Now premium comes out and it costs $40 to make all those expansion and they sell for $50. Now they have this BF3 Premium that has the full game plus the new content. They have made their money on the original game since its two years later so lets say $5 goes towards paying for the original game content in that $60, the rest of the money is profit and how much it cost to produce the content for those expansions.

Its just a guess but i still agree with ya.

If I could buy the game with all expansions right now for $60 why can't they just lower the price of the premium content to say $20. I would still be paying a total of $80 for everything and it would be a bit more fair for those of us who already own the game. I enjoy the game, in fact it's the only game I play, but I think if they're going to make it more affordable to a new crowd they should do the same for the crowd they already have.
