I'm having second thoughts...

I was one who jumped on the preorder for BF3 right away, I've played the beta, both on PC and PS3.

After learning about the lack of VOIP like BF2, 4 player squads, and no commander, I'm thinking long and hard about actually buying the game.

The game is looking more and more like a COD game, and I realize their franchise is highly successful, which is probably why EA is doing it too.

Yes, the graphics are incredible, and yes there are some handy new features. And yes BF2 is a dying game (tough to find a good server during the US daytime hours)... so what are my options

What do you guys think, will you be "upgrading" to BF3 or not?

I missed that one thanks. Haven't been very active on these forums ever since BF2 started dying a slow death...

what

our bf2 server...no! it been about a year since i played any time on the tpg bf2 server. imho bf3 could kill both bf2/bc2 in time. only PR will live on.

BC2 for sure, but I doubt BF2 unless they fix the squad/voip/rose issues.

Shit I would get Skyrim or Diablo 3 instead of bf3. Those are games you can trust.

in time... i think enough regs will play bf3 and if its tru bf2 is in trouble right now it wouldnt take much to tip the scales.

Same thing was said when BC2 came out.

BF2 will be affected fo sho.....but with the lack of VOIP, and any resemblance to BF2 gone, I doubt BC3 will kill BF2. In fact, I bet BF2 outlives BC3.

How many major game releases have threads about cancelling the pre-orders? BC3 is on the verge of major flopdom.
