BF3 Client Side Technical Problems & Useful Information

You've done a system restore, and update bf3 with the new patch and you still get the issue

Might be a video card issue then. Have you updated you video drivers lately? Are there any errors in the logs?

Ok so here's my problem I finally laid out the $40 for BF3 and loaded it try to start and I get the error code DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED Im running windows7 and EA tells me a new video card will Supposedly do the trick. trouble is the video card they say will run the game is like $300 and answers ?? thanks for the help

What video card are you using? I can't imagine you are running DX9 in Windows 7.

Ok here is my problem log on today and orgin does some kind of repair fix automatically and now Bf3 wont even load.

If you just installed the new patch you will have to right click on BF3 in Origin and select repair.

I have up dated my vide card a month ago and is up to date but how do i look up my log files. Shoot you later evilblackjack

Go to the Control Panel>System and Security>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer

Open that up and try to start BF3 and look though it to see if an error pops up. There might even be an error log specifically for BF3 in its install directory.

OK did what you said party and did find lots of errors, but did a defrag and reloaded my cloud information later file and it started to work fine for about 3 games then my background screen came up asking me what choices I wanted to pick , then windows said that bf3 stop working. So now I back were I stared. I think its a window problem. I am running windows 7 64 bit. I do not know were to go further on this. evilblackjack
