Anyone with a G13 have recommendations on how to map it for BF3?

Set it so that when you press buttons, other people die.

All the keys on that thing are just macros. If BF3 lets you bind the keys on it or you can macro your keys to the bf3 keys.

I just use default for my g19 its the same thing. If you are refering to remapping keys or keybinds, I have been having a huge problem with them actually working correctly. I change one bind for on foot and it effects the joystick for choppers and planes. Kind of frusterating. :/

I use the G13 and I love it, here's an image of my top secret layout, as well as my keybinds, which I've been using for FPS since my 2142 days:



Green: Weapon Toggles
Blue: Movement / Interaction
Orange: Vehicle Seats

G1: Toggle Main Weapon
G8: Toggle Underslung Weapon
G6: Toggle Equipment 1
G13: Toggle Equipment 2

G2: Spot / Commo Rose
G3: Interact / Enter Exit Vehicle
G4: Jump / Parachute
G5: Sprint / Steady Weapon
G9: Throw Grenade
G10: Miscelaneous - Using for Toggle Flashlight right now
G11: Prone
G12: Crouch

F5-F12: Used for vehicle seats 1-5 respectively

G7 & G14: These can be used for anything you like.

The two thumb buttons assigned to alt and control can also be used for whatever you like.

I have a Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse so I use the side buttons on the mouse for reload, melee and fire mode. I use the middle mouse button for the main map and one of the top buttons for map zoom.

I use the same logic / principal for vehicle controls, G5 being boost, G4 being countermeasures, etc. For helos and jets I use G6 and G13 as "Throttle Up" and "Throttle Down", respectively.

Hahaha, no hacks just a simple key layout that works across different games. I'm actually having a little problem toggling equipment item 1 when crouched, I might have to use crouch toggle or just scroll the mouse-wheel for the equipment I guess. By the way, you should try the G13 for MMO's, it's pretty amazing.
