What video card should I get?

I think everything I am running is up to date except my video card. Nvidia 9800gtx. Top of the line a couple of years ago but since playing BF3 the video seems a little choppy. Any suggestions? I've attached my device settings as well.

I did a scan to see if my devices would work. Here are my devices and what bf3 recommends.

    Budget?

A good cheap budget card is the 6850 ($140) or 6790 ($130). AMD basically dominates the low-mid(ish) range cards since the 550 Ti doesn't put up much of a fight and the GTX 460 has its price inflated.

The 6870 at $175 is solid and so is the GTX 560 (NO TI) at $180 Both are pretty good and should run BF3 @ 1920x1080 pretty well.

The best bet, I suggest the 560 Ti 1GB or the 6950 1GB either or is good. The 560 Ti is defiantly a better bang for the buck in my opinion since it's so easy to overclock to the 570's level.
I suggest this 560 Ti if you're going to overclock yourself.
    Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N560UD-1G GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Or this if you just want to not mess around with that stuff.
    Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N560OC-1GI GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

For the 6950 1GB I'd get this one.
    Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100312-1GDP Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Now keep in mind, these are my suggestions on the cheaper end, not like 570/6970/580 etc.

Wow.... Don't upgrade your graphics. Your CPU will bottleneck the graphics. I suggest you upgrade the CPU and motherboard.

    What's your budget?

Budget isn't the problem I just don't want to reinstall bf2 and 3.

I'd upgrade to at least the 560 Ti I recommended.
Then get AT LEAST, the AMD Phenom II X4 955.

Just go with the 6870. Out of curiosity i turned one of mine 6870 off yesterday just to check how it would perform in BF3 with one card, and it run it on all ULTRA just with one 6870 on my 24" 1920x1080 .cheap cards with lots of potential.

I run a 6870 with the Phenom II X6, runs all ultra easily...the card seems cheap for the performance, was 170 or 180. Though I don't know a lot about GPU prices, I recommend it.
