Re: Concerning Operation Metro
you know i didnt read everyones comments but i notice there are lots of people saying TPG is a full rotation server. i see that and i think does it hurt to change? i also see some of you agree it is a bad map but say TPG is a full rotation server. how does that make sense? if the map is bad and most agree that it is then why have it on the rotation?
i think that if any positive change to the server can be made should be made and no nostalgic idea should stand in the way of that.

Re: Concerning Operation Metro
The reason we are a full rotation server is because what one person views as a horrible map, another may well enjoy it. Do we deny those that like it access to the map because others complained about it? I'm sure there are people that don't like any of the other maps for one reason or another. Do we remove those maps as well and limit our play selection?
With metro you have to push and watch your flank. We had an intense firefight last night on that map that had B swap back and forth at least 3 times and made it fun. All because people were pushing and communicating. That is key with the map.“Honor has not to be won; it must only not be lost.” - Schopenhauer

Re: Concerning Operation Metro
I love close in infantry maps with choke points. Gibralter was my fav 2142 map!
I would be sad if any of the close in maps went away.
My opinion is all the air maps could go away in BF2 and make it a better game, yet there are those out there that disagree for some freaking reason....

Re: Concerning Operation Metro
I don't think I was in your squad, but that was an awesome fight for the ticket hall. After that, I am actually into OM despite it's I/O feel... Some good coordination via chat got squads together and we had a lot of back and forth; in the end it was a close match for once.
