Mmm, you seem to be going through another flash back. It's 2011 just to bring up back.

And in 2011 games cost $60 brand new, when "back in my day" they use to be $45. Now, seeing how I waited 2 years after BF2 was out to get it, surviving with BF V and 1942, for only $25, but with Oblivion I waited 3 months to get it at $30 rather then $50, I want some first hand information before I make a decision. And, seeing how I know a few of the folks here and value their opinion above that of the random net blogger, I feel TPG input on the matter gives me a better idea of where my "Willingness to Pay" level should be.

Cartillery was never really patched out... they made it harder sure, but a good commander could still cartillery the opposing team's artillery or that pesky sniper way out on the perimeter somewhere.

I meant the cartillery hack where you could drop hundreds of jeeps or crates, and if desired crash the server.

That still happened even with the 1.5 patch... so it was never really patched. Just like the commander hack and everything else.

Well whaddaya know...

The TPG auto squad TS voip channel is what's really making this game fun for me. This coming from a BF2 regular that was sorely disappointed by the lack of real ingame voip.
