GRUMP -
I hate change, and I'm a cheapskate. But, it's lonely as f!@#$ in bf2 land.
How sucky is this game in low resolution mode? I've an older gaming laptop - alienware m11x w/ nvidia GT 335M gpu.
After 2 weeks of not being able to frag your a$$es, I'm about ready to throw in the towel and get this cursed game... (hell, almost ready to get a new gaming laptop to do it right - if there's someone out there with an m11x R3 i'd welcome their PM).
extra-grumpy,

Don, get it.
I run it on Low Res at 1600 x 1200 with a good frame rate, things still look fairly awesome. Everything is really layered and dense so even if you run it at lesser settings, you'll still get the immersion and general awesomeness. The other thing is, the sound really pulls you in, so it actually kind of compensates for the graphics.
It's really fun.

I meet the min but not the recommended and it looks WAY better than BF2.
But I don't play based on what it looks like, I play because despite all the fuck ups it is still a fun game.
I am worried you wont hit the min stats with that card tho... Also i think you HAVE to have Direct X 10 (Vista or win 7?)
