Re: Stacked Teams
Does anyone else have half a brain and realize that having most players that lead and work together on a team IS Stacking the Team. I always get confused with these conversations. Stacking simply means one team wins by a lot of points. Usually is a combination of leadership, teamwork, and yes, fast reaction time/skill.
And Admins can't manage everything. I think most administrators do try to even things out. TPG always conscious about that. I also believe in the free market. Play the game, if one side is getting 'pawned', leave, find a new server for a few hours, its a free country. Simple.

Re: Stacked Teams
If your getting pounded by the other team then its your teams responsibility to adapt and overcome. If my team got pushed to uncap and was getting raped well then thats the teams fault. Figure out what got you in that situation and try to prevent it next time. If we didn't know anyone on the opposing team (TPG server) and they were raping the other side..... is that team stacking then?
I don't mind playing a whole side of regs. The competition is nice and challenging.

Re: Stacked Teams
Well seems bases have been covered so this will be my last complainy post in this thread..
This was one side of a map: Battlelog / Sign in
We rocked there socks off, me and a squad mate got swapped over at the end of the round and I thought it was some admin action and then this happened.
Battlelog / Sign in
We got absolutly destroyed. It wasnt a lack of teamwork, or trying, it was the fact that we were absolutely blatantly out skilled. We worked hard to fight for what we had but in the end for the last 75-100 tickets we were just in spawn getting mowed down as we tried to take a few steps down the road to A. That map was a time for admins to take some action, or squad leaders to say, hey, look guys no one likes getting raped and we want the server to be up for a few more hours. Pull it back a bit.

Re: Stacked Teams
You know looking at both sides of the roster on any given day the average person could say that each team is stacked but none of us here are noobs anymore. With all the countless hours of bf2, bad company2 and now bf3 there should not even be a team stacking thread ever started again.
I would say I have at one point gamed with almost everyone here and can literally say every one of us follows this etiquette to gaming or should I say a code of conduct. So if you really think about it, comes down to following your own gut, knowing what you need to do in the heat of battle, trust your instinct and move faster than the other team to get your objectives accomplished. If both sides do this the match will have no choice but to be a close one. If you don’t the machine will break down and it will be an uphill battle to try to regain your footing.
I’m sure not one of us will ever cower from going up against a higher level player; I know I won’t because on that day it could be your day against that person that everyone thinks is so much better. So, these kinds of threads which I have seen come up for years here at TPG, at one time may have been a valid argument but I say no more, there are too many veterans here for this to even hold water.
I’m looking at the TS channel right now and on a 64 player server there are about 40 plus people logged in playing that are straight up killers, so suck it up, play the game and have fun. You win some you lose some, it’s all part of the game.
Just my two cents on this topic.LiquidPropane86 liked this post
