11-18-11, 09:59 AM #1poor FPS help
Hello again,
I'm not sure what's up (likely I am in need of a HW refresh), but I am having trouble getting decent FPS with BF2 PR. ... What's most frustrating, is that my FPS is ok on normal BF2 (even running at max 1920x1080). In PR I keep getting stuck at 15FPS (that seems to be the lowest the game will run at)... I've changed all my settings to low, and even turned off shadows (I do not typically care to do that - seems unreal/unfair) ... and I've even lowered my resolution down to ~1200x900. Have others have similar experiences? Any advice (other than get new HW)? I'll still give it a run tonight (possibly closer to 8pm EST - must pickup vehicle from shop after work)... "maybe the extra single player/bot overhead is slowing things down"

It was good gaming with everyone this weekend; I got to join in on Fri + Sat evening. My performance/FPS was ok in multiplayer mode... recalling harder, BF2 got laggy in single player more with more than 30 bots.
The game was fun (though I must admit, I miss reviewing my stats after the fact).
looking forward to next weekend,
