Re: B2K
Yea, that maps are smaller than their BF2 counter parts, at least Sharqi, Karkand, and Wake. I have yet to play Oman. Wakes flag place is good, Karkands is ok, but I would have liked to see a bit more distance for flags on Sharqi. Give us some room to manuever EA!

Re: B2K
It's funny I listened to a bunch of guys that either had not played BF2 in years or just not played it saying the maps were to damn big. myself I think they are a bit smaller but you still realize that you have to put some planning into getting your squad from one place to another or you'll spend a lot of time running around in the open. And those damn snipers out in the dunes of Omen suck.

Re: B2K
Yeah, you might be right. The only one if found to really be nostalgic was Karkand. Thats the only one where i really knew where i was when i spawned in, and could anticipate the enemy advance. I did however enjoy all the new places to move and hide within the city, its going to provide for some interesting game play as time goes on and we adapt to the new nuances.
The rest of the maps have several areas that are supposed to be familiar but to me are un recognizable. I think Oman threw me off more than the others. To me, that plays like a new map with the old name. Sharqi plays about the same as the original as does Karkand. Wake on the other hand feels like its only about 3/4 the size of the original and the cap points bear zero resemblance to the original BF2 model.
