    well the sniper whore in me loves the idea of lowering players health.

    But the realist in me doesn't see a practical side to it. I like the config we have now on the server.

    This really isn't a l2p issue and certainly not when were talking about tenru, remy or party ball. these guys are really good. I think Ten believes it will make it more realistic and also give less skilled players a better shot at killing some one when they do manage to get the drop on them. However that logic cuts both ways and in the end to the detriment of the less skilled player.

    I have played on HC servers and I love it as a sniper. One shot kills should be in the game with the right weapon, considering recon can do very little else. which IS a l2p issue you better be aiming for head shots if you want that one shot kill! If you do, you might even end up with the rare and oh so delicious double kill with one shot!

    See that's what I got from it too... I see no problem with the concept, all he wants is a few less bullets to kill, so it takes 3 shots instead of 4.

    To make it clear I don't mind either way. However the 80% would slow me to be a braver flanker, right now I start to empty a gun into an unsuspecting enemy they can still whip around and headbutt me with a pistol or a usas... I found on hc my sneaky tactics worked better. But I am also not a super star aimer like wastepaper (lol Swypes interpretation of warprosper)...

    wait what?? recon is more versatile then they have ever been in bf games. the can use some of the best toys and use SMG's, shotguns.

    I think it's good the way it is. I think it's a happy med between old BC2 HC and full noob BF3. There are times when it's unreal how many rounds it takes to drop someone but I think that's just the game at times. Sometimes they drop like flys and other times you have to drop a full clip, then pistol, then throw your gun at them and you still get shot.

    Yes... its more versatile than it has ever been in any previous bf game, but still... I would kindly take one more medic or support on my squad over a recon anytime....

    As fun as racking up dozens and dozens of headshots is, now that I,ve unlocked my last sniper rifles (like five minutes ago), I cannot see myself playing that class at all, unless I'm playing as an attacker on rush and we could use a squad beacon.
