    I was in the midst of transitioning from childhood to adulthood. lol's I did all this except my training was at Ft. Polk LA.

    I didn't make it to Nam, although I was quite ready for it mentally and physically but at 17 and an only son they said I wouldn't get there and that was when we started our "strategic withdraw" so AK. it was.

  3. A Short Review of Mantle.

    Bear with the super large pictures for now, there's nothing I can do about them.

    My current setup:
    i5-4670k
    Sapphire HD 7870 (2nd gen)
    Asus Z87-A motherboard
    Patriot Wildfire 120GB (where BF4 is installed)
    Asus VS229H-P e-IPS monitor, running BF4 at 1920x1080
    Windows 7

    The first issue is with Borderless in Mantle:

    As you can see, the game window is shifted down by my taskbar. I could move the taskbar to my other monitor, but that would defeat the purpose.

    Next issue is with Fullscreen in Mantle:

  5. Collective Card Games Making a comeback?

    Growing up some of us remember initially seeing Magic the Gathering and being involved. Over time Pokemon and YuGiOh came into mainstream and attracted players to their worlds. This was mostly in part to them also having a tv show that could attract youth to them. As we have entered the Electronic age of gaming it seems like people enjoy playing many of these games still... But do we enjoy them in the same way? Magic the Gathering: Online, Clash of the Dragons, Legacy of Heroes, Ascension, and now Hearthstone have seemed to make it to the front lines of the CCG community. Hearthstone is still in the Beta phase of testing, but there are many wonderful things being said about it.
