    Hunting expedition.

Im thinking of putting together an elite team of no more than 8 people to kill players around the NW air field. Specifically, to camp the campers and steal the stuff they stole. This is not a raid team or mobile assault team as we have done before, entering the barracks would not be an objective.

Im thinking 2 to 3 two man sniper spotter teams and 1 two man loot team.

I have some people in mind, and i dont mean to be exclusionary BUT, this could be a fruitless boring mission and i know alot of you aren't really for that. Also, my experience in the NW is limited to some raids on the hangers and barracks, never in an over watch position. People with great patience, and a tactical skill set would be perfect for this mission.

The one aspect of this mission that i am sure of is that the loot team will be remotely located and not come into play until the target is down and area secure. They would come in from afar lightly armed with plenty of pack space on one and no pack on the other and quickly claim the loot and bring it back to a temp camp with tent. Everything else is up for debate.

Im not really a confrontational person, but im getting tired of looting death traps like Stary and staying in areas of the map where i will never see a range finder or M16 acog spawn. That said, i have not problem taking out some guy that has camped people at the NW air field and reaped the rewards of killing the guy that did all the work.....

Throw up some ideas of who (including those that do not currently have access to this forum) might be good for a mission or missions like this. And if you are familiar with the area and habits of those described above, post it up.

Same here especially if I can locate another long range weapon but I can cover as well. Ira, Bucket, Wraith, and Scion come to mind for this type mission. All accomplished sniper's in game with the patience to match.

Hell yes. Hopping for players is doing it wrong.

Sounds like fun. I think in the past 2 weeks I have gone into NW Airfield so this would be an change up to things. A sniper I am not but can run the loot taxi and spot.

I wouldn't mind setting up as your bait? I was thinking that the whole entire group that you were talking about, including the runners, would set up around the NW airfield, most likely a position they could see the air tower, fire station, and north barracks. Then I could start farming the buildings looking for goodies.

If an enemy player is distracted by me, you will hopefully have an advantage. If the enemy player kills me, you will know where he shot from most likely. If no players show up, we just farmed the NW airfield and are sure to have goodies. Just a thought. Either way I would like to help out. I get the feeling some of you guys think I'm "only" an action guy and ask everyone I play with to go to very hostile areas on the map, but that is not the case. Before a lot of you even started playing this game I spent countless hours roaming the map with Ira and the SsT guys avoiding enemy players. I think I have proven my worthiness for a mission like this. Put me in coach.

You know I've been thinking about the same thing and the designated bait guy could go in with nothing but a pistol and a pack and if they die they can just run back and get their stuff

    Re: Hunting expidition.

Yeah you are an action guy Blond, but you are at the top of my list because, A) You are very tactical and know how to execute a mission like this. And B) You have extensive knowledge of the terrain and routes traveled in that area.

Again, the mission i propose does not involve looting the Barracks or covering the barracks, its a layer deeper than that. If no one shows up or its a bust we can regroup and hit the Barracks, but we will need plan for that too.
