I feel like a lot of people like this game because of the survival aspect of it, but they hate it when they die. Dying is a natural part of this game and will never change so if you can't NOT get pissed off about dying from anything, hacker or not, then you probably shouldn't be playing.

Dying is a part of BF3 or BFBC2 or COD or MW.... surviving is the point in DayZ. Yes you know your going to die, and its only fair if you do something stupid like run through Cherno in your skivvies. Or you might die because you were out played by a murderous player, or you fell off a building or whatever. The point is, you survive longer based on your actions and your decisions.

Its total bullshit that you work to stay alive for 3, 4, 5 weeks only to be killed by a hacker in god mode. I cant blame people for being pissed.

Oh, and "surviving" doesn't mean sitting in the forest scavenging pigs and rabbits. Some in our group have been with us for over a month on the same character and have looted Stary, the NWAF and been in gun fights with the rest of us that have died... they live because they play smart.

I die most regularly to my own stupidity. I make it about 7 days then forget to look before i cross the road... my bad, no biggie. But getting taken out by some childish hack would piss me off. Damn straight we hate dying like that, its so pointless. Im looking to make this character last 15 days... 13 is my best so far. You bet if i get to day 14 and get telleported 1000M up or insta killed at the hands of some hacker, i will be pissed.

See for me the goal would be the survive the longest before dying like you said. I'd just be happy I made it to day 14, a new personal best!

Here's to hoping the standalone will have a more solid anti cheat than battleye.

There needs to be a password option so it'd be controllable - to many hackers right now

You can password it but then the server gets black listed because Rocket doesn't want private servers for people to farm. He wants all servers open for everyone to play on. I have heard of private hives being ran though...
