I kind of expected Chernarus to be based on actual locations, but it's uncanny how accurate the in-game map is compared to reality. BIS did a very good job at recreating that area.

Exactly. I scrolled over to Polana, Gorka, Debrovka and Berezino. Theres just a gravel pit where Factory is supposed to be.
