And what would you expect? If every Tom, Dick and Harry was raiding my camp because they died (which is quite often as they forget this is a survival mod and would rather play large scale CoD) then you bet your ass i would pack up my shit and leave.

Here is a little hint about raiding tents and re gearing. Set up a tent for yourself, raid SEVERAL camps of a few items each, no need to get greedy. Do it like that and the camp owners will most likely chalk the missing gear up to bugs or "my buddy must have taken it". Store those items in your tent at your secret location, or even a TPG location, just YOUR tent. You will probably need to set up a second tent with essential items and med supplies if you want to go that far. Don't touch the tent(s) for a couple of days other than to stop by and save it. Save just enough stuff for one re gear when you die, that way you might be a little more careful over the next couple of days knowing you wont have replacement goodies for another day or not at all if the tent doesn't respawn your stuff.

Rinse and repeat as many times as you like, in different areas by raiding different camps on different servers. Even try setting up tents with different loadouts in different areas, that too keeps things interesting.

It takes time and effort to do this, and it keeps a level of consequence to dying. Thats the part of the game that i find interesting. Maybe im missing something but running into Cherno or Electro looking for trouble, only to get shot and lose everthing after you make a couple kills just seems like a long drawn out BF3 respawn.

Yeah ...there is not much left in them. Some cans and beans ..pretty much all the good stuff is gone.

I take back my previous statement. It turns out that the tents are not gone. The last time i went down there i think my dumbass was on the wrong server lol. They all still reset with the server and fill back up. I went there two nights ago after a restart and i was cherry pickin for a while. However, there are some non TPG guys that we have run in to down there. So far they've been cool, but still watch your back.
