Yup. Nothing we do in DayZ has brought more players to TPG than his videos. Wish i had the time/equipment/talent to make videos.

Send him a PM with plan and a time. That is most of his work on those videos was coordinating the people and the time/day. Do that part and all he has to do is show up and record.

I'll prolly reinstall the game and start playing again. I am a bit disheartened that the whole dayz project has lost its way, its being artificially kept in alpha for one and two it seems rocket lost some of his balls in a freak lawnmower accident or something because the stuff hes been advocating of late could of come from a different dude.

Also I have been doing recording for minecraft and my channel is coming along, if Rob is uninterested in doing more dayz stuff I'll do the recording.

I hear ya. I think it evolved the only way it could. He negotiated the stand alone with BIS, and im sure there have been changes to his original vision in order to get the deal. BIS on the other hand had nothing to lose, they've already won. That in and of its self gives me an uneasy feeling. That said, i think the final release of DayZ will be one of the most unique games we have ever played, and well worth the 15 bucks or so to buy into the new alpha.

I also think the game had devolved from when you last played. KOS was the word of the day, and the hackers.... oh don't get me started on the hackers. I have managed to keep my characters alive for at least a week before getting glitched or hacked. Even so, i keep going back for more. And lately it hasn't been too bad. The populations have decreased to where they were when we played as a group, and Battleye has actually stepped things up and banned a shitload of hackers and skiddies.
