So I reinstall Dayz....

I used Dayz commander and that is one slick easy to use program. But that is not what this post is about.

So I remembered that the last place I logged was somewhere near Vybor and I indeed did log back on after months on the side of a hill near Vybor on some random server with about ten people on it. I load in and notice that I am on the slop but don't have much cover, and I will be looking through the settings menu to do my tweaks and generally get the game set up to do some real playing, so I turn up slop and stop dumb struck. There is a Ural not 15 feet from me on the side of the hill. I freak out...a little, I ring the hill checking bushes and looking out onto the open ground around me thinking someone just happened to be looting a downed chopper or something that would explain the Ural being in an odd place. Nothing, I go back to the truck and check the gear. Four NVG's and range finders, two GPS's an M4 HALO. Yoonk Yoonk yoonk. I recheck the list because there was two guns I didn't recognize. Some G36 SD and a sniper rifle I don't recognize or remember as well, soooo that explains it I log onto a random server and log back right on top of a hackers stash. What a way to start playing again.

Most people log onto the TPG ts right away when they are playing. Rarely people will group up and go to a private viop so the hoards of TPG'rs don't bug em with what server? Where are you? Give me beans!

Did some Lingor with Smokenscion and Preditorian, not a bad feel to the map at all.

Most people playing have at one time or another has carried a hacked weapon we found on someone or in a tent.
My current character has an as50 tws, and a gold revolver.

Well I'll loot 'legit' items if I can across them honestly, even if there is evidence that they entered the game by less then legit means. But I personally won't use an item or weapon that requires a hacker to bring them into game. What defense do you have if you are banned? I didn't know likely won't cut it on a golden eye pistol.

The Dayz Forums have stated Officially no one will get banned for using hacked weapons.

Ditto Pint. I once took a M16 ACOG (Which mysteriously morphed into a Makarov in my backpack when i hopped servers a couple of days later) out of a hacked in supply crate, but thats it. I have no interest in using the AS50 TWS or the G36C Holo SD, both of which i have had opportunities to take.

I don't think i've ever killed anyone with the Tws, (thermal scope) I shot a guy pointblank with it, but it was no scope.
At the rate in which Sheriff gets everyone killed, I'll lose it soon enough.
