One of the tweaks needed is loot spawing/peristence.

Players spawn both zombies and loot. Zombies despawn if the player that spawned them leaves the server, but the loot remains. Right now, in two instances for me, the loot -also- despawns with the player. This is a biggie.

Another tweak that KB was alluding to is the day-night cycle.

Yesterday, it started getting dark in-game at 530-600 PM EST. DARK. Most US-based servers hold off until midnight-2 am EST. Also, one of the server-side settings (I assume) regulates how-dark is night. From pitch black to highly-lit moonlight. Somewhere in-between would be preferrable (imho).

Not sure if I need to be whitelisted, but I'll try to get on tonight. I voted not just for myself, but what I thought would bring in more players. Chernarus map, crosshairs no (I hate them, so maybe this one was selfish), 3rd person yes, waypoints yes, gun perks no for pretty easy to understand reasons, and I don't like all the extra vehicles although I wouldn't be against a few extra.

Recommend looking at DayZ Bliss. Got a ton of built in features. Most private hives use it. DayZ Bliss

Honestly, really don't want the TPG server to be anything other than a private hive. Tooooo many hackers, plus you have to adhere to Rocket's rules, which makes banning them near impossible. That's what chased a lot of people away from DayZ public.
