Know if we can run 2 maps? Kinda burnt out on Chernarus. Would love the new Panthera; imminent release.

Really like some of the custom tweaks that both YacthR and BMRF have done.

I second this, the random lootable crashed vehicles was nice on YR and the idea of getting "swag" if you donate is nice as long as it is not excessive (i.e. get a reserve slot and get camo or other basic item but thats it, not a full or near full gear up)

Long term it needs to be whitelist. But we may have to go public to get some initial numbers. I'm hoping we won't have to. If we have all our people playing on this server every night, that should be enough to get people to want to join the server. Then when they are unable to join they are met with a link to our website and signup.

Might be fun to do another Gang vs Gang event for the opening of the server. That way we also get everyone to be wanting to play on the server from the get-go. I can tell you right now that for many of us it sucks playing on a server with no players, but if we have reason to stock up and make camps then I know some of us will have no problem doing that and trying to prime the server.

I think it would be a great idea. I'm going to be making my own group for the opening. Think it would be better to have multiple groups instead of two big ones. Once the server becomes popular we can come back together.

(I don't mean make this a public event. This would just be for our current tpg players. Like the FBI situation. A way to get all of us playing on the server and not playing else where.)

I would say start white list, see if the community can grow the server.... Taviana is a good map to start with. I'd rather see ppl bitching about a full server before adding a second server.

I would offer my services, but I am far too busy with work and school atm. I will probably be able to help out in the future (not saying you need any help at all in the coding side of things). I am just throwing this out there. I do think that the stand alone is going to support private hives, but I am not totally sure what you have to do to host one when it comes out. This might be something to look into. I don't know if there is a finite amount of servers that the DayZ dev team are going to give out for the release of the stand alone version. This is something to think about seeing as the release is so close. I will look more into this and get back to you if I find anything worth noting.
