Soren was back on and up to his same ole' tricks. No one was biting and we knew he was near the west Airfield. I spawned in not too far to the east so i began to slowly make my way west. I heard a few G17 rounds from the west and knew who it was, soren was asking how loud the G17 is just prior. I stopped on a hill side to inspect the town of Garlbosa. I soon spotted zeds in the west side of town, then the east. Suddenly i see a bandit, 500M out bandaging on the waters edge on the east side of town. I have a clear shot. I squeeze one off only to watch it fall short. Damnit, i was zeroed for 300m. I raise my crosshairs and fire again. This time a burst of dirt appeared directly behind his feet. He takes off running, i fire two more times. Missing both.

All the while i was feeding intel to Dreadd who was moving in from the north. As i waited out my quarry Dreadd found an elevated position effectively locking down the Northern and Western exits from town.

As soon as soren found cover he wasted no time getting into side chat to proclaim what a lousy shot i am, and how i should learn how to "fuckin aim". I offered silence as a response. Next came the shit talk in side chat text. Still, more silence. He returned to voice side chat trying to egg me on into revealing my position, but this time there was a level of concern, even anger in his voice. He again mentioned that he had his fraps running and wanted a fire fight. Now, as Dreadd said, hes playing OUR game.

As the clock ticked, dreadd and i discussed our positions so we clearly knew where we were, and also guided cookie to the area to provide additional cover. I was confirming Dreadds position in relation to mine when i caught a glimmer of light near the road between us that just didn't look right, and it was slowly moving. I scoped the area to reveal the source of the glimmer was a bandit skin. I re-zeroed the rifle for three hundred and place the cross hairs on my prey. At exactly the same time i see him aim his DMR in my direction. Its now or never, i take the shot. It falls a hair short of his head and hits him in the chest. I fire again, but he begins to stand and the next shot goes through his legs.... he runs to the nearest rock, spouting blood like a fountain, but i can still see his leg. I fire two more rounds without hitting. He is effectively pinned down, and bleeding.

At this time, i relay the information of his exact position to Dreadd as i made a hasty retreat to the east, making sure my enemy can see exactly where im going. Eventually i duck out of sight over a small hill to hear the distinct report of a DMR in the distance, and an enthusiastic "I got him" in TS. Dreadd had delivered the final blow from behind and above, he had no clue that it was coming. Lights out Soren, and you will NEVER know who it was, as it pisses you off to no end.

Gotta love those nights, hunting parties are fun, especially bandits!

It was so satisfying to out play this guy after what he did to us, and another player the night before. Im no killer by nature, you guys know i prefer to play the friendly role, but with this guy, i wanted him dead so bad i could taste it. It will be interesting to see if he comes right back or takes some time off this server now that a bunch of us know his MO.

Plays the roll of friendly, and uses a lot of side chat voice. He is very convincing, well he was anyway. Once he gets you drawn into his little world, he kills you. He was planning on doing that to me the other night, but changed his tune when i picked up 3 more TPG guys in the UAZ before heading up to the prison. After he had "earned" some trust, i took off to find alice packs for the newbies, and Bucket logged off, leaving Mafia and Dreadd alone with him. Thats when he made his move.

The next night, we were re-gearing so we didnt engage him, but he used the same tactics to draw in another random player named Rambo. We never clued Rambo in because we honestly thought he was playing Soren at his own game, turns out he got suckered too.

Anyway, to get this guy out of his shell Dreadd and i changed our names and hunted him down. Worked like a charm.

Yes indeed, it was a very satisfying hunt. Delivering the coup de grace to such a low-life was ever so sweet.

His gig is deception and betrayal. Did a lot of side-chat voice that first night, and have no doubt, that guy is seriously twisted.

It was really fun to get under his skin; simply ignoring his ever increasingly irate and desperate taunts. He had no idea who was stalking and ultimately got him.
