I noticed some of the admins of recently whitelisted servers on the DayZ forums bump there posts often trying to get players. Maybe one of them would provide a quicker response?

Follow the BMRF Taviana thread. BMRF runs a lot of custom stuff and integrating it is taking a while. They took the host server down last Friday to start install, and are still working on it.

Is it a forgone conclusion that Taviana is to be the TPG DayZ map? Yeah, this is a Taviana thread, but if we start up a TPG server, it will need quite a bit of attention by the TPG community (priming). Think we need to still think about which map.

We should, at some point soon, poll for a map and loot table options.

Another feature i think we need is custom freshy loadouts as a promotional gig, then as a donation reward like BMRF.

Lets get this live first.... I agree with your slots for presents, I'd say offer camo and gun or camo and binocs combos. Don't go nuts and give a rifle and pistol. Steg and I played a server where they spawned you with a G36 and 6 mags, a silenced PDW and 4 mags, food, and a canteen. No bandages lol. It was retarded and I spent the night wreaking havoc my gunning the multiple "taxi" choppers.... they were so pissed someone was opening fire it was pathetic.

Someone PM a yacht rocker admin too.

Definitely no Gun perks. Lets stick with camo skins and essentials like compass/map.

This is exactly like i was thinking.

I logged onto a random lingor server the other night, spawned with an MK48, M9SD, and a Coyote back pack.... i sat there for a second wondering if i ever played there before and this was the character i left.... so i died. Spawned in with all those goodies again. It felt cheap and dirty so i left.

Doormanisgod servers run a full load out, for the PVPers. I like to join them when servers I normally play on are maxed, or Im in a bind for time, and just want to kill/vent anger. Not really Ideal for DAYZ or tpg.
