Re: Protocol for Squads
There is Proximity base when you push button A, then there is Squad based if you push button B, there is Platoon based if you hit button C.
(Note your mappings may vary)
If you can't hear it watch this video
I'd like to see us use TS as a back up only. Join it but not talk in it unless the ingame VOIP is having issues that night (or to greet someone who isn't in game yet ect)

Re: Protocol for Squads
Tried using in game voip last night, had some distortions and audio issues. Was Ok, but TS seems at least 70% better/clearer to me.
Also, fyi, I was unable to have TS and in game squad VOIP keyed to same keybind, creates an echo for others"The bravery of idiots is bravery none the less."

Re: Protocol for Squads
This is what folks told me last night (though it could also have just been the bat cave). I actually finally looked at the settings for in game VOIP and saw what glitch reports except I didn't see an option for a Platoon speak ... that will be nice.
The proximity thing worked pretty good last night ... you see who is actually saying something (in lower bottom of the screen) ... you can mute them or increase their volume. I heard the guy spamming decent music last night just fine. Actually enjoyed having a sound track following us around, providing inspiring music to our "Vanu dominance."My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.
