Is buying Arma 2 worth Day z?

I know that if I bought Arma 2, I'd never actually play it, but is it worth the money just for Day Z? I heard that the people who made the mod were working on a stand-alone Day Z game, should I just wait for that or should I scrounge the money together and buy it?

It's a great game. Probably the best game I have ever played and I have been playing video games for 30 years.

No way to tell you if it is worth "your" money though.

I've gotta support Nuckle's statement. This is one of the best games I've ever played. Definitely the best mod I've ever played. It has its flaws but if you can get Arma2 combined Arms for a steam discount I'd do it. You jhust have to weigh the cost for yourself.

I'm only $3 off from being able to afford it while its on sale, but as much as I want it, I don't think I'll be able to play it. Also just a quick side question, I made a signature and put it on, but it doesn't show up when I post, how do I make it appear?

Buy it.
The SP missions are fun.
Armory is fun.
Wasteland, is a bf2 killer.
Takistan Life, Fun mission.
ACEmod, Really technical mod.
I44 ww2 mod.
oh and Dayz.
All of these are Free when you buy Arma2 OA.

I would pay $60 for Day Z tomorrow. I'd pay monthly for day z if they asked. Is it worth your money? Yes. Will you hate the game? Yes. Will it make you stressed? Yes. Is the game insufferable? Yes. Is it the best online game in today's market? Hell yes. It is the worst game ever. Because it's just so Damn good.
