Yesterday in Elecktro

Carl and I tore some shit up.. trying to figure out who the third and forth people were. I couldn't get around to checking all the bodies, but Ace and Synch are verified. Who was rolling with you guys yesterday?

Also, it's damn near impossible to loot or study a body in the middle of a town. The Zs are super aggressive and don't let up. As I was shooting the fourth dude I got a broken leg... Fixed the leg..and as I got up.. Got knocked out and died.. We made it back to the bodies. Mine wasn't looted but Carl's was. Good thing too because I had a CCO, Coyote, DMR, and GPS.

Good times!

I stayed the hell away from Electro when i spawned in. I was close enough to see the cranes on the east side. Instead i went inland. Decided to hit Rog Castle. When i got up there, Zeds had spawned in the main tower, i walked around to the door and found one walking into the wall toward the direction i came from. I figured i could sneak in behind him and loot the tower, two sets of stairs up and i was denied by a zed coming down from up top. I scooted down the stairs and out the door followed by the zed who stopped in the doorway and wouldn't move. I threw cans at him, ran back and forth right in front of him and nothing. He wouldn't budge, it wasn't like he didn't know i was there, it was more like, "fuck you, i know you don't have a weapon and you are not getting into this tower".

Anyway, i pressed further inland and hit up a few small towns. I will say this. Learning DayZ back in the day when Zeds were very perceptive and would not break agro has trained me well. I had no problem negotiating the walkers and making my way to a rendezvous with Krom and Kraker. Well, i shouldn't say "no problem", i did get hit a few times and at one point gladly accepted a transfusion. But it wasn't as bad as i had been hearing over TS as some folks were getting raped by the Zeds.

Ended up surviving my first day with all my essentials, a side arm and an AKS 74u primary. I'm not quite ready for battle, but i think this new patch is geared more toward how i like to play the game. Just need one more item, after that, any additional perks will be provided by the generosity of other players.

agree 100 percent. The game is now geared towards survival. Sure you have to worry about other players PvPing, but now you also have to really think about what you are doing with the zeds. To me, DayZ is getting better...

Was in agro mode myself, last night in/near Electro.

First it was [players name redacted] at the front of the store, back of the store, and finally at the Pub, with a crowbar. 12-15 hits? Geez. Bleeding like a stuck pig the whole time. He did empty a pistol at me, but he was backed up to a wall and I was pressing so close, the shots went over my shoulder. Payback was due tho. He spawned, rolled into the store and did the deed with an axe. Was just trying to get a better backpack;store was filled, but only 4 patrols and one vest pack.

Respawned near Electro. Firehouses weren't spawning jack. Finrally headed north after getting a long gun, an 1866. My favorite starter gun; it packs a good punch. Got my first rabbit kill; those buggers can run. Running north of Tepulka Dam in the woods, saw a flash of white between the pines. Got closer and started to hear gunfire, not quite sure if I'd been seen. Was there a shootout going on? After everyone in my TS channel said it wasn't them, engaged.

Shot one guy near a bushy pine, and he shot back. Was wounded and had a broken leg, but he was down and bleeding in the bushy base of the pine. Good thing he was in white; that's all I could really see. Shot till I heard flies, and bandaged, morphined back up . . . Just in time to see a second guy slow walking sideways, up the hill about 20 meters, to see what he could see. Dropped to the ground, as did he behind the trunk of a tree. Both fired and hit, but I was still up, and he appeared to be unconcious. Finished him off. Injured again with broken leg. Ruh roh, no more morphine. Crawled to guy #1 and was in luck; he had 3 morphines! Looted both of em, with backpack, gun, and compass upgrades.

Ended up being Ace22 and Synch. Talked to them after I left the server. They were shooting zombies.

Great times yesterday.

Running into Dread in the middle of no-where was unfortunate! He totally had the jump on us. capped me b4 i could fire my ak at him. Synch ran over to try and get a shot off at you but had pellets in his 1014 firing from 70-80' (useless).

Later in Elektro, Synch ran over to the grocery store was looting and ran out the back door only to get capped seconds later.

I ran in the front and hid behind the counter with 2 zeds slowly making their way over and pecking me (i did nothing). Someone made their way inside and was shooting the zeds that were attacking me. Once downed they peeked through the doorway and I unloaded my enfield almost point blank - dead. I ran out the front of store and across the into the bar. circled through the back lost my zeds and setup in the back alley with line of sight on the back of the grocery. Sure enough a dude ran back there with about 6 zeds on him. I hit him with the enfield but he didn't drop. he made it just around the corner before I could get another shot off. The zeds headed my way and i bailed to lose them. a minute or 2 later he showed up with an ak and kicked my arse. I spawned right back into electro found a 1014 with 8 shells. I B-lined back to battle. We saw eachother on a corner he went for a quick flank and hosed me down. spawked kamenka. killed myself. spawned electro. headed back to the action but everyone had cleared out. I searched all the downed bodies, managed to get an Ak cobra, coyote and a compass and all the small stuff. Got the hell out of there and called it a night.

War, it was just Synch and I. I think there was a 3rd group involved last night. As many of the bodies were laying in the grocery store or right out in the street I didn't take the take time to check who they were.

We had 4-5 TS channels with 2-4 guys in them last night. Basically small looting groups. Made for a really fun time.

ps. Dread. That's the last time I use direct chat to make peace (I know you didn't end up seeing after the post action chat). LOL Ignore my salute - - jerk. I had the weapon advantage and didn't fire on you!! The nerve to hunt me down with a crowbar. You're lucky the ak i was carrying was out of ammo and I managed to completely miss point blank with the revolver (only had 6 shots). until we meet again! That was my FAVORITE watch!!

I also ran into blondy in the cherno grocery store. I was taking GreenGod on his first DayZ mission. Green was face deep in a loot pile and Blonde pops in the back door and opens up on him with a Makarov. Thankgod I was ready with my Enfield. Green ended up breaking his leg before we had found morphine so I headed to the hospital. Didn't make it out alive....
