Oh I agree, it's just that if I'm running over a Zed with my Ural and he gets a shot off, I just don't think it should be that way.

If the developers were going to implement this new feature, they should have made sure it worked properly.

They need to polish current features and not introduce more features. I cannot emphasize the Zed Clipping enough. It's been present since day 1.
