What's wrong with my PC not being able to play DayZ on high?

As the title says, I recently upraded a lot of my hardware, but I'm not able to run DayZ on highest settings..

Hardware:

MSI Z77 Mpower motherboard
i7-3770k
GTX 660
120 HyperX 3k SSD + 1tb HDD for games

Now, since I'm running on Corsair 12gb ValueRAM, I think thats the problem. It's quite cheap.

Does anyone know?

Your setup is fine. It's the game. Unfortunately the Arma2 and 3 engines are poorly optimized and there's not much you can do about it.

play it on Low, You'll have a better advantage with Shadows off, and details low.

Thanks for the answer guys, I read about the Arma engine being unstable before, but still thought it was my hardware. I guess I'll have to live with low settings.
