I tried a SP game with very low spawns, seems like buildings still had concentration of zombies and the open had a few here and there. I didn't get a great deal play time with it. Night seems like an epic downer, all you can do is hide and craft. If zombies didn't run it would be worth risking a night raid. Still have the dogs and hornets to worry about.

Almost have sit down and ask what kinda zombie movie do we want to simulate?

Low spawn, Always run, 25% night for a more 28 Days later feel
Medium spawn, Never run, 50% Night for a Night of the living dead

I'm gonna mess around with the setting on a single player game for a bit to see if I can turn up something that feels balanced.

I'd Like to run no rules, really that's the best way to do it. Except for the usual no cheating, glitching, duping, griefing.
Aside from that I think 5075% spawns and running only at night is good, with the reduced damage given by Zoms.

you're supposed to hunker down at night and craft, assuming you spawn in during the day, there is ample time to gather/loot to make ready for the night. Even if you dig a hole in the ground.

even if I give you access to it I can't guarantee you I'll be able to do a restart while I'm on the road. Hold off on that until I get back.

Upped the loot
Lowered damage taken
Lowered the night to 25%
Lowered Zombie spawns to 75% from 125%
Lowered sense (chase) from 60 seconds to 30 seconds
Lowered loot respawn days to 4 from 7

And now... I'm off on a road trip. Cya in 3-4... 5... days.
