is it just me or is something funky with the mouse curser and the menus they dont match up like trying to grab something in an inventory or hot bar its 2 inches off from the mouse curser exiting the game doesnt fix it

They focused on making it look good. The interface has been clunky since they first started the experimental version.

I've seen this happen in other games related to the "hardware cursor" setting. I haven't seen it since KOTOR 2, though. Something like that could be the issue.
