    PlayOn and consoles

Has anyone tried out PlayOn's console add-in? Supposedly, with it you can stream Hulu, Netflix (Without the disk I'm assuming), ESPN... etc. They claimn it works on PS3s, Wiis, and XBoxs.

I tried it, but the fact that you have to use a second computer made it a deal breaker.

I have it. It runs as a media server, so once you set it up on your PC and select the video transcoding quality you should be able to see it in the Xrossmedia bar on your PS3 under Videos. It works rather well. Keep in mind the bandwidth needed to stream video over a network though. You need a wired connection or 802.11n or 802.11g. You can get by with the PS3's builtin 802.11b, but you need to set PlayOn to low quality it let it buffer a bit first.

So you both are saying I should install it on my Windows Home Server to stream to my PS3?

I believe you can put it on your Windows Home Server if that is what you want, but you'll also need to get Windows Media Player 11 installed. I just run it from my PC when I feel like using it, less hassle.

I got it installed on my WHS. WHS has WMP 10 installed by default and it works AWESOME!

Granted, you don't have the pretty interface but hell, who cares! I'm saving like $60 by not having to have cable/satelite.
