Does it really matter who has the better graphics? PC > consoles period. :P
When it comes to consoles though, I could care less about graphics though and more about how the games played and what not.
Still interesting to actually see someone break it down though and give you factual information about both systems. It is nice to see someone actually be unbiased when attempting to compare the 2 systems.

this all you got jinx. not gunna cut it, ps3 gpu is a bit weaker than the 360.
a guy lifts 150 pounds, and another guy can only lift 140 pounds. who would win in a fight.
its not that simple as numbers.
jinx, this is why i like my ps3, go down this list and see how it matched you beloved 360
A: multimedia functions - i have converted all my dvds into divx, which i can watch on the fly whenever i want without worrying about space and disc swapping.
B: by worrying about space im talking about the fact that sony supports HDD swapping so you can throw a 500GB drive in your ps3 without voiding your warranty and it is waaaay cheaper than even getting a 80gb ms brand drive
C: it has all of my favorite games. my model plays ps1, ps2, and ps3 games. all of them. i have a huge ps2 collection. to date only one game i enjoyed did not come out on the ps3, and that was mass effect
oh and also i could not live without my pixel junk games.
D: i was showing friends some pictures of the places i have been with all my pics i have on the drive from traveling on the road. as well as having a conversation with my roomate about a funny internet video wich i then immediatly just switched to the ps3 browser and pulled up youtube and showed him. laughs all around. i cant do that on my xbox
E: my ps3 has 3 media card readers which as i mentioned above about my picture collection im able to pull pics straight off the camera as well as transfer all sorts of data with my pro duo mem sticks from my psp. not to mention the 4 usb spots which i hooked my 100 gig HDD to and watched all my other vids that had stored on there.
F: i recently used the video chat to connect with a friend back home that i have not seen in 4 or more years. it was verry good to see, and hear from him
G: cost. when i got my xbox i had been playing on my roommates xbox and wanted to transfer my saved games onto my new xbox. to do that i had to buy a microsoft brand mem card for 50 bucks, where as on my ps3 when i change saves from my machine to my roomates all i use is my cam mem stick or a thumb drive, as the usb takes any sort of usb storage
also as a note the wifi adapter which comes built in on a ps3 cost me 95 dollars to buy for the xbox.
the xbox ended up costing me more in hardware purchases than my ps3 did and i am still missing a blue ray drive. thankfully the ps3 had that covered
H: which brings me to my blu ray collection. i have a nice tv, a verrry nice tv and watching a movie like pans labyrinth where i can see all the individual leaves on the trees in the background. makes for an incredible experience.
I: im getting tired of writing but i cant leave out my psp connectivity. with my psp im able from bed to log into my ps3, which brings up the ps3 video output onto my psp. i have full access to my ps3 from there, being able to watch my movies or listen to my music, im also able to play ps3 games with the psp acting as a wireless remote and the ps3 sending the games video output straight to my psp.
it is very satisfying being able to play ps3 while dropping a deuce jinxy, as well as access it while im at work over the wifi.
to sum it all up we are now able to watch netflix so you cant hold that one over me any more either, to watch netflix i dont have to pay for access to it on my ps3 either. no gold account needed. there is half a year of netflix paid for by what you save doing that. the only and i mean ONLY thing 360 has that i would love to have on my ps3, is cross game voice chat. thats it.
your argument still remains invalid with me jinxy, i know how much you love ruffling my feathers by saying my ps3 is garbage. but it goes way above and beyond for me. much farther than my 360 does.
so for now i bid you a fond farewell and leave you with this. linux support. my ps3 is a computer that can also boot into linux and play roms and games on that aspect as well
so you know.... put that in you pipe and smoke it
love howlin xoxoxo
