Re: Castlevania Lords of Shadow
Really? Cause I kept hearing that Dante's was a huge disappointment. Bad guys are repeated in areas where they didn't belong, the camera became an issue while climbing, and that the last few circles of hell were just arena matches(almost like they gave up on creating new levels)

So the camera is going to be the reason I don't get this game then. I thought it was pretty when I played the demo, but its not worth it to me (maybe if I find it really cheap somewhere). Now I'm just stuck looking forward to Project Dark.

Hmm, perhaps then. I don't think he has gotten that far to notice that part yet then. Maybe it is like that, I'm not sure. He's gotten further in Dante's though than he did in Castlevania. He just gave up on it because he hated how this one was so much.
I'll have to borrow it from him once he is done with it to see how it plays then.

I think the thing is unless you're a huge CV fan(only reason I wanted it) or don't mind fighting the camera(which isn't that big a deal, but does get in the way in a lot of fights) you aren't gunna want to rush and get the game. However, it is a game you have to play just to see how cool it is and to know the story(which is a great story).

Re: Castlevania Lords of Shadow
Dante's Inferno was okay. I loved the game until like previously stated, the final circles. The enemies were recycled from previous circles and it basically showed that either they were rushing to finish or ran out of ideas. The game was also broken in difficulty. All you have to do is spec into the holy tree of the game and towards the end you basically have infinite health and mana. Castlevania, despite it's flaws managed to keep me interested in the enemies through variety and at least making the enemies that were appearing make some semblance of sense story wise. The combat was also much more difficult that Dante's. I played on hard mode and was nearly wanting to rip my ball hairs out over some of the fights.
