There is a 4th weapon?
I thought it was just the 3 weapons, the Speed one, Normal one, and the Power one. That is all I have gotten. I haven't played it much though and have only beaten it with 1 character.
Disappointing though that the story mode is only 5 missions per character. At least it was just 5 for the first guy I played (the ninja dude you start off with, Hanzo I believe).
Still pretty fun though. For some reason I seem to enjoy the Samurai Warriors series more than the Dynasty Warriors series. Too bad there aren't more of them or have longer missions. Still SW3 seems like it has a lot to offer overall still with the Castle area that I haven't gotten to yet.

To get the 4th weapon, it usually involves achieving all the tactical bonuses of the character's last level. Exceptions are the characters with no story mode where you have to do it in free mode. On my first play through with Nobunaga, I traded my 4th weapon without even knowing because it looked like any other weapon but with 6 attributes. You would think a special weapon would have a new design and not just a color swap. Luckily I could replay the stage and get it again.

Hmm, reading some more about this online, apparently you need to do certain missions with each character on either Hard or Chaos mode to even be eligible to unlock these 4th or Unique weapons.
Haven't even tried Hard yet as I think it would be suicide until I level up my characters more.
