    Redbox Games!

So Redbox is now renting out games at (i think) all locations. I rented DNF yesterday and just turned it back. So far it seems much better than having to go across town to rent a game for 8$ at blockbuster. Unfortunately they don't have much right now, but still its a good deal. $2 a day isn't bad if you can beat a game fast enough, or have the time to. I'll probably be doing it again this week before I leave for vacation, been wanting to check out the new Red Faction.

Well that's pretty cool, but if I'm going to rent a game it's because I want to beat it without buying...and 1 day is stretching it

I suspect this service is only good for demoing a game before purchase, and for that I simply watch game-play videos on YouTube.

The way games are going right now, you might not need more then a day to beat them, except some RPGs (and games that are endless).

I'd try it if I had a current-gen system. Sadly I'll just have to live with movie rentals instead =P

I tried it. Wasn't bad the only thing was it really wasn't worth it because I kept it 4 days and it was just the same as blockbuster. I guess an up is the disk should always be in good shape because I think the machine checks each disk on return if it works.

D2D has a partnership with Gamefly now, so they may be doing that again through them if they stopped.
