    anyone ever have a similar problem? google wasnt a help :/

    lately storms in the area have been creating power surges and outages so it might have something to do with that.

    Could depend where your modem is plugged in, over loading the circuit maybe?

    Thats what i was thinking. A 12k BTUH unit puts a hell of an amp draw on a 120v circuit during compressor start, enough that it could glitch the modem.

    If hes got Central air, the breaker box could be overloaded.
