Thread: What should be changed?

AWP isn't as easy as what it looks on videos.. Yes you can get good at the AWP just like some are good at it in SOURCE. I am decent AWP in SOURCE and in GO I just can't do the things that I can in SOURCE. When your moving with it scoped in it blur's out and also the crosshairs move up and down and side to side as you move.. So its harder to strafe quick and shoot the AWP now. Makes it more of a stand still gun. You can actually move a little bit and quick stop and shoot but like I said it's hard because of the blurr and the movement of the crosshairs.

Deagle is the way I think it should stay. Yes it is powerful and can shoot at medium range decent. It's very hard to get used to if you haven't play 1.6 "IMO". You have to strafe with a and d keys ONLY when your wanting to shoot while moving.. When your running straight and your wanting to combine the W and D key it is not accurate at all.. so either you have to strafe side to side or you have to strafe/stop to shoot it.. SOURCE deagle you can shoot it any way you want! You can run how ever you want! And still be pretty accurate. IMO deagle is good.

AK is very shitty looking and also I've been saying this all along.. The sound of the guns are horrid IMO.. That opinion is on ALL the guns.. When your in game allot of the guns somewhat sound the same. And there are a few guns that sound like an UMP and that is very ODD to me when playing.. To me this is a big deal because when your playing 1.6/SOURCE/GO 80% of the game is sound!! I would love to know what they have in there hand before I come up on them.

P90 Seems the to be a bit more un accurate. But I'm not 100% sure about this because I haven't used it but 2 times

GO, IMO does make this feel like a somewhat different game. Since I've got the beta I don't think I have played source but 5 or 6 times. When I do join a SOURCE server I just can't handle it anymore.. I'm ready for a change and this is a pretty decent change. I think everyone will NOT like GO starting out but will end up loving it.

The AK IMO will not be the choice of the T's anymore. I'm thinking the Galil will be the choice of most.. It has a burst fire of 4 shots and is very accurate.. Also it does very very close to the same damage as the AK. Galil is way cheaper also!

Right now playing GO sucks because there's not many people that I know to play with. I love playing on TPG servers because there's team play, servers always full, good admins, very competitive, and allot of friends.

I don't play much GO anymore.. Waiting for it to actually come out to play on TPG server.

Thanks for the info Butta! I am feeling a little more optimistic about the game now.
I have always been able to turn off radio commands via console, it is just a pain in the butt to do it manually every time. Hopefully that will at least still be an option. Radio spammers and nade warm up rounds make my head want to explode. But if they are tweaking the guns the way you say, then I can deal.

Galil = good buy

Sig = Very good gun but expensive.

Aug = Very good gun but expensive.

There's allot of changes in each gun from what I have seen.

I say it's going to be very interesting to see what gun/guns will be the choice for others.. The sig/aug can shoot across the map and snipe snipers very very well.. That would be another thing that makes it harder for the AWP'ers.

It's going to be fun to see this game in action with everyone on.. Can't wait!

Yeah Mebad, tons of tweaking needs to be done, but there is a higher skill ceiling in this game. It will be good, hell.. it is way ahead of source as in how source started out.. I for see great things with GO, after a year of feedback etc. I love the 1.6 behavior of pistols

I don't have a beta key so hopefuly someone who does can answer this.

Does getting hit with a flash/HE/smoke stop you dead in your tracks? <- Drives me insane...

When it (a nade) is thrown at your feet does it stop you and can you walk over it or are you stuck there for a brief period of time?

Is there stuff on the ground like rubble or other objects that you can't walk over? (Like the rubble in Chateau in upper B)

Has anyone heard "ghost" reloads?
