CSGO vs CSS

Do you guys and girls think that CSGO is better than CSS. Personally I don't think it is even close to being as good as CSS is. I do not like the way everything looks, very cartoony, and I dislike how the guns shoot and the changes they made to some of the maps. I feel that CSS is the best Counter Strike and it will probably stay that way.

CS:GO is still in beta, so it will get better. TF2 is cartoony, CS:GO isn't.

I do agree about nuke though. New nuke sucks, also not as big a fan of arms race it needs more guns/nade/crazy levels. So pretty much I can't wait for custom content.

As soon as GO comes out, CSS will be uninstalled on my computer. Things like new spray patterns or sounds or any of the other small crap that I've seen people not like will be gotten used to, just like the 1.6 fanboys did when source came out. It will be polished up with regular updates, and I just can't see how it won't be light years better than CSS once it's all said and done.

In my opinion, go is already better.. if they actually listen to cs vets, colors, sprays, fog all will be fixed for high level play. I already am loving the hitboxes and the higher skill ceiling. It isn't as spray happy as source and that's a very good thing. But, I haven't played it in a few days...

CSS is my favorite game! I really hope people do not stop playing CSS because I really do not like the way CSGO plays. In saying that, I feel it will get better when it comes out fully, but I just can't see myself enjoying it more than CSS!

I can truly not say which one is better than the other, people will just have to form their own opinions on it.

I will say that they are both different games, yes, they are both counter-strike but they play very differently.

So, for most people it will be a matter of preference/getting used to the new game.

It seems that it does require a bit more skill in getting a kill in csgo though, I have found getting headshots not as easy. I personally think this is a good thing, but I am sure some will say different.

No matter what they do to the game there will always be people to bitch about something, and how it is not as good as one of the other counter strike games, but they will get over it and play another game while others will play csgo.

So if you like the game after trying it out, great! You have a new game that you like, but if you don't like it dont waste your own time by letting nostalgia get in the way of how you think the game should be.
