Is there a way to edit keybinds out of the game? I just want to port my CSS setup to GO, and I'm dreading the googling.

I think there's a cfg file with a list of all the binds. I can't recall the name, MadMax would know. All you'd have to do is copy and paste it.

The config.cfg has all your normal binds and settings in it. You can create an autoexec.cfg to put custom binds and commands. As an example, here is my autoexec.cfg:

Only thing is that CSGO doesn't seem to run this file automatically. So I added +autoexec.cfg to my launch options but have yet to see if it works. I have been just typing exec autoexec in console each time I started the game which works fine.

Edit: My internet is not very good where I am right now, so I use the gimped rates of 64 64 30000. But if you have a solid connection, use 128 128 80000.

I tried that too, but if you make any changes to settings while in-game, the file gets overwritten and the exec autoexec part will be gone.

Didn't realize that. That could also be the reason my key bindings don't work for buying. No matter how I type it, none of the key bindings work (but the rest of my config does).

You know what? I'm a complete idiot. I just had to scroll down in the keyboard screen. for some reasonit didn't occur to me. Thanks regardless.

Weird my autoexec runs automatically. I just had to be sure to save it in UTF-8 format.
